Sharing my personal collections of poems with you.. "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazed---and gazed---but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils. William Wordsworth Quick Cash Advances HOW OLD MY SOUL? Beyond this realm, I seem to see And reach to touch forgotten years. How old my soul, it seems to be, As if it lived in other spheres. Fragments seep beyond the veil; Forgotten wisdom of long ago. Like a candle with a far off flame; I seem to see it faintly glow. Old music connects within my heart As if it were a part of me. Is it my soul, the words remembered, That draws me to its melody? What in the past that keeps it sad; In this melancholy state of malaise. This state of sorrow that seems to linger; Upon the soul so heavily weighs. -- Submitted by Gloria Sarasin from Trinity, North Carolina e-mail: sara689@yahoo.com CHANGE An addiction to learning Developed daily by imitation Opens the door to empathy And the capacity to love. Pure white masks gray, Pinks and oranges cover navy, Shifting, changing, colliding in space. Massive works of God's clay, Continually mold into figures of Clowns, rabbits, or whales driving cars. They are foreboding parents hiding the world From the glittering celestial bodies. Refreshing the earth with calming mists, They drizzle down to reincarnate growth. Suddenly pounding at the window, Acknowledging their anger and unleashing their wrath, Until the emotions drain, leaving only puddles Of the past to be sloshed through. Muddy filaments of joy and relocation. Troublesome spots that force me to acknowledge That I am moving too fast, And noticing too little. -- Submitted by Katie Wilkinson from Mt. A Mother's love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away..
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking.. It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation.. A many splendoured miracle man cannot understand.. And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand. © Serbrina R. Walker
We sometimes complain that times are rough. Money is tight and the going is tough. The problem of life seems to conspire To shake you, break you, and drag you threw mire It's a tradition to rise up to conditions. You sometimes worry or stew or fret When public opinion is against you And false rumors arouse suspicion It's a tradition to rise above conditions. On the pathway of life you have aims and ambitions to make your mark and pay the world your tuition. Some folks may laugh at your rendition but remember It's a tradition to rise above conditions So whatever your task in life may be, Keep on climbing fancy free. Give your life to God in humble submission, Keep on living the tradition. by Mindy Carpenter
Memories of my youth. Flood over my soul. When I think of Grandma. They make me feel whole. Gathering at her house. With all the family there. We made lots of memories. For all of us to share.
Lessons that she taught me. Guide me thru the day. If I listened closely. I cannot go astray. Love and commitment. She drilled into me. Making the person that I am. Just who I want to be.
Grandma has many names. Each one has their chosen. But the names I want her called Starts with love, For she is warm and not frozen.
Sometimes... a lot of opportunity came in our life. We need to choose either grab it or drop it.
Sometimes... the opportunity just came once. Sometimes... it may change our life. Sometimes... it doesn't change anything. Sometimes... we can't decide what the right decision to be made.
Sometimes... we need help to make decision.
Sometimes... nobody can help us. Sometimes...when we lose it, we'll regret. Sometimes...when we grab it, we had a joy. Sometimes...we just waiting it to be true. Sometimes...it came when we need it. Sometimes...it never come although we wish for it.
So, when it come, choose the right decision and grab it as you wish for... source:I luv Islam

I am a mother now, and so I know Hard work is mixed together with the fun; You learned that when you raised me long ago.I think of all the things you gave to me: Sacrifice, devotion, love and tears, Your heart, your mind, your energy and soul-- All these you spent on me throughout the years. You loved me with a never-failing love You gave me strength and sweet security, And then you did the hardest thing of all: You let me separate and set me free.Every day, I try my best to be A mother like the mom you were to me.By Joanna Fuchs Seeking out identity tasting the real world that we're always told about but never allowed to join
Changing continuously trying to gain approval, a social rank, among people we don't even like
School, movies, malls, we're Always worrying about looks constantly and critically aware of the opposite sex
We're all so different but exactly the same We claim to be individuals but we just want to fit in
No one understands us One moment rebellious hateful, spiteful, & angry depressed & sullen the next
Survival instincts are strong but completely misguided, masked in the lack of any self-confidence
In seeking out friends we hurt those who care about us gaining nothing, losing everything we had
We are forced to watch the self-destruction of the once-16-year-old kids we grew up with
The innocence of childhood is lost to sex, drinking, smoking, cruelty and self-centeredness
We are the misfits:
no certain place in life no certain place in self
Mothers Touch© Kristi D. Hadley-Godeker I’m so afraid with her I might make a mistake. To discipline the situation, always a risk to take. I may get so angry, and yell so loud... Wanting her to be a good girl, make me proud. So young in age, though older in mind... The biggest part of her so loving gentle and kind. I want her to have a good future, really succeed. Working long hours, hard to give her the attention she does need. One day in her future she will know my love is true. All the sacrifices will be seen, as with her little girl, wondering what to do. I look at her so pretty it frightens me, the best reward is molding her into the person she will be. I see her changing right before my eyes, nervous for I get only so many tries. Remember friendship will develop later as she’s an adult. After she’s lived life and knows the way it felt. I will get her ready for life that can hurt so much Then and only then... She will be thankful I guided her with a mothers touch. My Miracle© KRISTEN DAVID FROM THE MOMENT YOUR WERE BORN I KNEW WHAT LOVE WAS REALLY ABOUT I LOVED YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT THE BOND I FELT WAS UNBREAKABLE AND INSTANTLY I KNEW THAT I WOULD SPEND ETERNITY THANKING GOD FOR MY MIRACLE, YOU TIME HAS QUICKLY PASSED US BY AND NOW YOU'RE QUITE THE LITTLE LADY BUT IN MY EYES YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY PRECIOUS LITTLE BABY ONE DAY IN THE FUTURE GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH A MIRACLE TOO THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE DEPTH OF LOVE THAT I WILL ALWAYS HAVE FOR YOU I WILL BE HERE FOR YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER AND A DAY LOVING YOU UNCONDITIONALLY EVERY STEP ALONG THE WAY There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real! When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying. | | | So many beauties in this appealing world The true beauty lies in the beholder's eyes There is beauty in the child's innocence and in mother's love There is beauty in a friend's affection and in a tender heart There is beauty in a pretty smile and caring eyes There is beauty in the morning sun and a rainy day There is beauty in the flaky slow and a pleasant spring There is beauty in the milky moon and the graceful rivers There is beauty in a hard earned victory and a hopeful soul There is beauty in me and beauty in you So many beauties in this spectacular world and its dazzling life And the true beauty lies in the beholder's eyes

| In solitude I remain With absolutely nothing to gain Perhaps in time I will be strong You see! Solitude is not my favourite song
A solitary place Is not where I belong Read my lips and trace the lines on my face You see! Solitude is not my favourite song
But social isolation Combined with social manipulation Places me once again in solitude You see! Solitude is not my preferred attitude
This isn’t a journey of spiritual enlightenment As some people might say to my resentment But in great loneliness of this magnitude I must find some self awareness in solitude
I must find strength and pretend That everyone around me is my friend To put this state of scale of elevation to an end I must pretend, I must pretend That even Solitude is my friend
